Wie schon berichtet, findet vom 7.-9. Dezemberan der Küste Andalusiens in Zusammenarbeit mit Rocky Mountain und HONDA eine Northshore Freeride Experience zum Launch des neuen HONDA CIVIC statt

CRAFT Rocky Mountain Teamfahrer Florian Konietzko ist bereits seit einer Woche mit seiner Crew vor Ort, um den Testparcours zu bauen, auf dem die aus der ganzen Welt angereisten Journalisten den neuen HONDA CIVIC  bewundern und das neue Rocky Mountain Slayer testen dürfen. In den nächsten Wochen werden keine Geringeren als Freeride Legende Brett Tippie und Young Gun Geoff Gulevich aus Kanada einreisen, sowie die deutschen Teamfahrer Dennis und  Maria Stratmann, um gemeinsam mit Florian Konietzko zu zeigen, was mit HONDA's Power of Dreams und Rocky Mountains Slayer möglich ist.

In der Nacht von Donnerstag auf Freitag überraschten uns starke Regenschauer, die uns eine sehr gute Bodenbeschaffenheit für die Arbeiten am Freitag bereiteten. Der leicht feuchte Boden ließ sich bestens für weitere Kurven verarbeiten, und das sehr gute Wetter am Tag sorgte dafür, dass alles bestens trocken und fest wurde. Alles nimmt langsam Form und vor allem Dimension an! Täglich besuchen uns HONDA-Mitarbeiter, die mit Vorfreude und sicherlich auch etwas Ehrfurcht den Fortschritt unsere Arbeit bewundern.

From December 7th-9th, ROCKY MOUNTAIN and HONDA will join forces to build a North Shore Freeride Experience on the coast of Andalusia, Spain, for the launch of the new HONDA CIVIC.

CRAFT Rocky Mountain team rider Florian Konietzko and his crew already arrived a week ago to build the test track where journalists from all over the world can take a look at the new HONDA CIVIC and test the new Rocky Mountain Slayer. In the next few weeks freeride legend Brett Tippie and young gun Geoff Gulevich will come all the way from Canada, and we're also expecting the German team riders Dennis and Mary Stratmann, who will show together with Florian Konietzko what's possible with Honda's Power of Dreams and Rocky Mountain's Slayer.

Day 5

During the night from Thursday to Friday we were surprised by heavy rain fall, which created very good soil conditions to work with on Friday. The slightly moist soil was ideal to shape the berms, and the very good weather during day-time ensured that the soil got perfectly dry and firm. Everything is slowly taking shape and dimensions! We get daily visits from HONDA staff, who observe the progress of our work with anticipation and certainly also with a little awe and respect.
